Our favorite chocolate cookies

Everyone who has ever tasted these cookies loves them. They are very chocolatey, chewy, and incredibly sweet. If I go to visit someone and ask what to bring, they ask me to make these cookies. If someone at home wants something sweet, they ask me to make these cookies. If I need to impress someone, I make these cookies. But be careful, they're so sweet they'll make your dentist rich.

Instructions

Step 1 / 8
Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
Step 2 / 8
Whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy (about 5 minutes). The mixture should lighten and noticeably increase in size.
Step 3 / 8
Add the slightly cooled chocolate to the eggs on low speed.
Step 4 / 8
Mix all the dry ingredients (flour, salt, cocoa, baking powder) and add to the eggs on high speed.
Step 5 / 8
Put the dough in the refrigerator for an hour.
Step 6 / 8
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
Step 7 / 8
Make 12 balls of the same size from the dough. When placing the dough balls on the baking sheet, leave enough space between them so they can spread out while baking. If desired, each ball can be rolled in powdered sugar, then the cookies will be "cracked."
Step 8 / 8
Bake the cookies for 14 minutes, remove from the oven, sprinkle with salt, and let cool. Hot cookies will be very soft and seem raw - it's okay, let them cool and they will be perfectly soft inside.
